About PINTSCH

Portrait

The future is inconceivable without the past. And without tradition, progress will not be possible. This insight has made PINTSCH today one of the most successful manufacturers of safety products for the railway infrastructure sector. Whether level crossing technology or interlocking or shunting technology, axle counting or point heating - all our product lines pursue one goal: Safety for the railways, safety for our fellow human beings.

Since the company was founded by Julius Pintsch over 175 years ago, our enterprise has repeatedly produced significant innovations to increase the long term safety and availability of international rail traffic. For example, around 1900 we produced the first level crossing in Germany which no longer required an operator, but was controlled by the approaching train. Technology that was met with great scepticism at the time, but which is now indispensable and - on the contrary - has been continuously developed ever since.

Since then we have followed many new paths and have constantly expanded our range of products and services. Safety for the railways that is our mission, the manufacture of products that meet the highest safety requirements, our goal.

Many years of experience have made the companies of the PINTSCH Group, Pintsch Bamag, Pintsch Aben and Pintsch Tiefenbach specialists in their fields. Combining these strengths by merging all the German companies in the PINTSCH Group to form PINTSCH GmbH was an important step for us towards an innovative future.

We would like to invite you to continue to push innovation, together with us.
